For the 1st Years

The academic support area tours are going on this week and they really are good to attend. If you want to use the printshop at all this semester/year there is paperwork to fill out to get access which you will get on the tour (it can also be accessed online for future semesters). While I have yet to use the 3D shop, going to the tour may give you ideas for different projects. They have a lot of machines there that can do some crazy stuff!

I know it may seem like a waste of time but you do learn about what the school has to offer, and this is really the only time you'll get this (plus, they really aren't very long). Also, if your group wants more in depth info from a department you can ask for it during these tours. Last year the printshop did a screenprinting demo.
